Application
Amoxil is taken by mouth (regardless of the meal). Dosing regimen of the drug is determined individually, taking into account the characteristics of the disease.
The drug intake should be continued for 2-3 days after the symptoms disappear. In case of mild to moderate infections the drug is taken for 5-7 days. With infections caused by beta-hemolytic streptococcus, treatment duration should be at least 10 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to amoxycillin trihydrate and / or other drug components as well as other penicillin antibiotics. Patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics should consider the possibility of cross-allergy; infectious mononucleosis, lymphatic leukemia, breast-feeding, children under 1 year.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, hives, flushing, fever, very rare - erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, skin hyperkeratosis, bullous and exfoliative dermatitis, eczema, enanthema, anaphylactic shock and angioedema, serum sickness, Vasculitis;
